Choose a Workspace plan

Your Workspace plan makes it possible for you to collaborate with other team members, colleagues, or clients and unlock additional capabilities.

Important: Workspace plans are billed independently from any Site plans or add-ons and do not provide site hosting. Each Workspace can only have one credit card on file, which will be used for all Workspace plans, Site plans, and add-ons purchased within that Workspace. (You can't have multiple credits cards associated with one Workspace.) You can update the credit card associated with a Workspace at any time. Additionally, each separate Workspace may have a unique credit card on file.

How to choose a Workspace plan

When you or your team sign up for Webflow, you’ll begin with a free Starter Workspace. Each Starter Workspace lets you create two free webflow.io  staging sites (also called “unhosted sites,” i.e., sites for which you have not purchased Site plans) with up to two static pages and 50 CMS items each. You can create an unlimited number of paid hosted sites (i.e., sites with Site plans) on the free Starter Workspace plan.

For clients, the Starter Workspace plan includes two Agency or Freelancer guests, which lets you invite guests (agencies or freelancers) to your Workspace. The Starter Workspace plan also includes two free comment-only users. Guest and comment-only users don’t count against your user limit.

Later, you can upgrade to a paid Workspace plan to add more seats to your Workspace and work on sites with other team members, colleagues, or clients. Paid Workspace plans allow you to keep more unhosted sites in your Dashboard and unlock additional capabilities — like Workspace roles and permissions, site- and page-level password protection, custom code integration, and code export — for every site in your Workspace.

Webflow has Workspace plans for teams of every size. Since Workspace plans are charged per seat, you can choose the plan that works best for you. Webflow also offers different types of Workspace plans depending on who you work with:

• Workspace plans for in-house teams
• Workspace plans for freelancers or agencies who build sites for clients

Workspace plans for in-house teams

Core Workspace plan

Intended for small in-house teams, the Core Workspace plan lets you add up to three paid users to your Workspace and includes ten webflow.io staging sites, 150 static pages and 50 CMS items per site, and the ability to add custom code and password protection to your site(s). You can create an unlimited number of paid hosted sites (i.e., sites with Site plans) on the Core Workspace plan.

It also includes user roles and permissions as well as two Agency or Freelancer guests and ten comment-only users, which don’t count against your user limit.

Growth Workspace plan

For larger in-house teams, the Growth Workspace plan lets you add up to nine paid users to your Workspace and includes unlimited webflow.io staging sites, 150 static pages and 50 CMS items per site, and the ability to add custom code and password protection to your site(s). You can create an unlimited number of paid hosted sites (i.e., sites with Site plans) on the Growth Workspace plan.

It also includes user roles and permissions as well as two Agency or Freelancer guests and ten comment-only users, which don’t count against your user limit.

Workspace plans for freelancers or agencies who build sites for clients

Freelancer Workspace plan

Intended for solo agencies or contractors starting out, the Freelancer Workspace plan lets you add up to three paid users to your Workspace as you build your team and includes ten webflow.io staging sites with up to 150 static pages and 10,000 CMS items each. It also includes free guest access in client Workspaces, basic roles and permissions (e.g., to control which Workspace users can design, edit, and/or comment on each site in your Workspace), and ten free comment-only users.

Agency Workspace plan

For larger agencies managing multiple clients, the Agency Workspace plan lets you add up to nine paid users to your Workspace and includes unlimited webflow.io staging sites with up to 150 static pages and 10,000 CMS items each. It also includes free guest access in client Workspaces, advanced roles and permissions, and ten free comment-only users.

How to find your current Workspace plan

To view your current Workspace plan:

1. Open the Workspace for which you’d like to view your plan
2. Click Plans in the left sidebar
3. (Optional) Click the For freelancers & agencies tab to view options for freelancers or agencies who build sites for clients

There, you can view a complete list of all Workspace plan features and upgrade or downgrade your Workspace plan.
