Since shipping rates for different countries, regions, or zones you’re sending products to might differ, you can create different shipping methods for each of the zones you ship to, and calculate your shipping rate based on the rules you specify.

You can create shipping zones and add various shipping methods in your Ecommerce shipping settings.

These settings can also be customized from the Editor which allows your clients to set their own shipping zones and methods.

Add shipping zones

You can create as many shipping zones as you need in your Ecommerce shipping settings. Give each shipping zone a name.

Add countries

Specify the country or countries a zone refers to. You can choose a single country, a continent, a group of countries, or even choose "rest of the world" to define different shipping methods and rules for all other countries you haven't specified a shipping method for.

Add shipping methods

Finally, define shipping methods. Since shipping rates for different regions or zones you’re sending products to might differ, you can create different shipping methods for each of those zones, and calculate your shipping rate based on any of the following:

  • Percentage of total order cost
  • Item price
  • Item quantity
  • Item weight

You can also set a flat-rate to charge a fixed fee per item or per order.

Percentage-based

This shipping method calculates the shipping price as a percentage of the total order price. To set a percentage based shipping method, specify the rate percentage.

Price-based

This shipping method calculates the shipping price based on the order subtotal (before taxes and shipping). You can add multiple rates for each price range by defining the min price of the order, max price of the order, and the rate amount for that rule. If the rate is zero, choose the free option.

Choose + New rate to add more rules.
Quantity-based

This shipping method calculates the shipping price based on the total number of items in the order. You can add multiple rates for each quantity range by defining the min quantity and max quantity of the order, and the rate amount for that rule. If the rate is zero, choose the free option.

Choose + New rate to add more rules.
Weight-based

This shipping method calculates the shipping price based on the total weight of the order. You can add multiple rates for each weight range. If the rate is zero, choose the free option.

Flat-rate

This method calculates the shipping price based on a flat rate. You only need to set the rate amount and specify if the rate applies to the entire order or for each item. Alternatively, you can set up free shipping by ticking the free option.
