Workspace seats & roles
Webflow Workspaces help organize teams and sites in Webflow. You can create a Workspace, add seats (full, limited, or free), invite team members, and assign them specific roles based on what tasks they need to do – from designers to marketers and reviewers.

Site roles in Webflow
Webflow site roles define what each person can and can't do on your site. Site managers have full access to the site's settings and design features. Designers have full access to site design features. Marketers can build using designer-approved building blocks. Content editors can update copy, swap images, and add dynamic content. Your Workspace seat type (full, limited, or free) determines which role you can be assigned in Webflow.

It’s time to put your knowledge into action! Practicing what you’ve learned is the best way to reinforce your skills, build confidence, and understand how Webflow works.
In this activity, you’ll identify your and your teammates’ roles then explore which additional roles might be available to you to better understand how your team can collaborate in Webflow.
Instructions
- Identify your role - From your Dashboard, in a Workspace, click Team from the Settings menu on the left. Identify your role from the Role column to the right of your name.
