Webflow Optimize lets you run A/B tests, AI-powered optimization, and personalization experiences on your site. This video walks through how to get started setting up your first experience in Optimize.

To begin, navigate to the Optimize tab in your Webflow site dashboard. From there you can create a new experience. You'll choose the type: A/B test, AI Optimize, or Personalization. Each has a slightly different setup flow, but the core steps are the same — define your variants, set your goal, configure your audience, and launch.

For an A/B test, you'll create one or more variants of a page or element alongside your original. Webflow splits traffic between them according to the percentages you set. The goal you define — a click, a form submission, a page visit — is what Optimize uses to determine the winner.

AI Optimize takes a similar setup but removes the manual traffic splitting. Instead, Webflow's machine learning automatically routes visitors toward the best-performing variant as data accumulates.

Personalization lets you show different content to different audience segments. You define the segment criteria — device type, location, UTM source, and so on — and set the content experience for that segment.

Once your experience is live, the Optimize dashboard shows performance data so you can see how variants are comparing. When you have a clear winner, you can apply the winning variant to your site and end the experiment.
