Comments

Comments allow you to streamline your team’s communication so you can build and iterate on your designs faster. Workspace members and guests can share, review, and resolve feedback without ever leaving the Webflow Designer.

The Comments feature in Webflow lets you and your team leave feedback directly on your site in the Designer — pinned to specific elements, sections, or pages. It's a way to keep design feedback in context, without switching to a separate tool.

To leave a comment, switch to the Comments panel in the left toolbar. You can click anywhere on the canvas to drop a comment pin, type your feedback, and submit. Team members who have access to the site will see the comment pinned to that location.

Comments support threaded replies, so conversations stay organized. You can resolve a comment once the feedback has been addressed, which removes it from the active view. Resolved comments can still be accessed if you need to reference them later.

You can also mention teammates in comments using @ mentions, which will send them a notification so they know there's feedback waiting for them. This makes it easy to loop in the right person without leaving Webflow.

Comments are visible to anyone with Designer access to the site. If you're working with clients or stakeholders who have Editor access, they won't see comments in the same way — comments are a Designer-level feature.

It's a simple but useful tool for keeping design feedback connected to the work itself, especially when you're iterating quickly or working across a distributed team.
