In this interactive, 60-minute session, you’ll learn how to set up and maintain a design system in Webflow. We’ll cover the core building blocks: variables, styles, components, templates, and libraries. You’ll see how these parts come together to form a scalable foundation for your site.
Along the way, you’ll explore practical examples, learn best practices, and leave with a clear framework you can apply right away.
This session is helpful to all users in any role. Please note, most of the features we cover in this session require design permissions in Webflow.
There are no prerequisites for this session. However, if you want a head start, we recommend checking out the following courses:
Yes, questions are strongly encouraged! Your instructor will kick each session off by explaining how to participate and when to ask questions.
Webflow University Pro sessions are only available to Webflow customers with Scale or Enterprise plans.
We don’t currently offer team-specific private sessions, but your whole team is welcome to register for the same session as long as there’s capacity.
Yes. Once you register via Zoom, you’ll get a confirmation email with joining instructions and options to add the session to your calendar.
If you attend a session, you’ll receive a recording by email within 1-2 business days.
Recordings are only shared with attendees, so be sure to join live if you want access.

Sessions are hosted on Zoom. We recommend installing the Zoom app for the best experience, but you can also join directly from your browser (no download required).
While not mandatory, we recommend keeping your camera on and mic ready — joining the discussion makes the learning experience more engaging and effective.

At the end of the session, your instructor will share suggested next steps to help reinforce what you’ve learned. This might include hands-on exercises, a recommended Webflow University on-demand course, or another Live Training or Workshop session.
