Web components

Web components are a set of browser-native standards for building reusable custom HTML elements with their own markup, styles, and behavior. They combine custom elements, the Shadow DOM for style isolation, and HTML templates, and they work in any page without a framework.

You register an element once, such as <product-card>, then use it like any built-in tag. Because they run on the DOM directly, they also work in plain JavaScript, and the slot element lets a page pass content into them. In Webflow, you can place one on a page by adding its script and markup through an Embed element.
