Your Webflow Dashboard
Every Webflow session starts in the same place: the Dashboard. Before you open a site for the first time, here's what to know.
Your workspace
When you log into Webflow, you land in a workspace. A workspace is a shared environment where your team's sites live — think of it as your team's account. Depending on how your organization is set up, you might have access to one workspace or several.
You can see which workspace you're in at the top left of the Dashboard. If you have access to more than one, use the workspace switcher to move between them.
Workspace plans vs. site plans
Two types of plans affect what you can do in Webflow:
- Workspace plan — governs features and seat limits for your entire team
- Site plan — governs capabilities for a specific site, including hosting, bandwidth, and CMS item limits
Most users won't need to manage these directly. If you have questions about your plan, check with your Admin.
Site cards
Each site in your workspace appears as a card. A site card shows you the site name, its published status, and its site plan. To open a site, hover over the card and click Open.
The sites visible to you depend on your role and permissions. If a site you expect to see isn't there, check with your Admin — they may need to grant you access.
Site settings
Site settings are available from two places: the three-dot menu on a site card in the Dashboard, or the main menu icon inside the canvas. This is where domain setup, integrations, publishing configuration, and other site-level options live.
Getting back to the Dashboard
Once you're inside a site, you can return to the Dashboard at any time. Click the main menu icon in the top-left corner of the canvas and select Go to Dashboard.
