Showcase your site on Made in Webflow

Showcase your site to make it visible in your public profile and to everyone using Made in Webflow.

We’re transitioning to a new UI, and are in the process of updating our Webflow University content.

You can showcase any of your awesome sites on your creator profile for the world to see. Workspace sites are showcased either on your personal creator profile or Workspace creator profile, and on Made in Webflow. Learn more about Made in Webflow publishing permissions for Workspaces.

Note: A paid plan (Site plan or Workspace plan) is required to showcase your site on Made in Webflow.

How to showcase your site on Made in Webflow

How to showcase a site from your Workspace

You can showcase any of the sites in Workspaces you own or belong to. To showcase a site:

  1. Open your Site settings‍ > General tab
  2. Scroll to the Showcase site section
  3. Toggle the switch to “on
  4. Set up your site’s Made in Webflow page
Note: If you want to showcase a site on Made in Webflow, first set your personal or Workspace creator profile to public. Learn more about creator profiles.

How to showcase a site where you’re tagged in Creator Credits

To showcase a site where you’ve been tagged in Creator Credits, first make sure you’re logged into the profile that was tagged in the site’s Creator Credits. Then, you can:

  1. Go to Made in Webflow
  2. Click “Showcase your site”
  3. Set up your site’s Made in Webflow page

How to set up your site’s Made in Webflow page

Fill out your site’s details:

  1. Choose whether you want to select the site From Workspaces or From Creator Credits
  2. Choose the site you want to add to Made in Webflow
  3. Select the profile to which you want to publish the site in the Select profile dropdown
  4. Give the showcased site a Title
  5. Add a Description
  6. Add Tags to help people find your site (e.g., “minimal,” “colorful,” “animation,” etc.)
  7. Upload your preferred site thumbnail to the Thumbnail image section image
Note: Be sure to check the note and tip under the Thumbnail Image section to upload a supported image. Thumbnail images should be JPEG, PNG, or a static GIF with a resolution of 540 x 360 pixels. Animated GIFs are not supported.
Note: Any showcased site on Made in Webflow must be published to the webflow.io subdomain. Unpublishing your site will also remove it from Made in Webflow. If you’re showcasing a site on which you’re added to the Creator Credits, you may have to ask the site owner to publish the site to the webflow.io subdomain.

Publishing permissions for Made in Webflow

Only members of a Workspace with specific publishing permissions can add a site to Made in Webflow.

Workspace-level publishing permissions for Made in Webflow

These Workspace-level permissions are available on the Core, Growth, and Enterprise Workspace plans only. Learn more about Workspace-level permissions.

  • Workspace Owner role — can publish a site to their personal creator profile or Workspace Creator profile
  • Workspace Admin role can publish a site to the Workspace creator profile
  • Workspace Member with either a Site admin role or a Can design role with Can publish toggled “on” can publish a site to the Workspace Creator profile

Site-level publishing permissions for Made in Webflow

These site-level permissions are available on the Growth and Enterprise Workspace plans only. Learn more about Site-level permissions.

  • Site admin role — can update, remove, and publish a site to the Workspace creator profile
  • Can design role with Can publish toggled “on” can update, remove, and publish a site to the Workspace creator profile
  • Can design role with Can publish toggled “off” no permissions to update, remove, or publish a site on Made in Webflow
  • Can design (limited) — no permissions to update, remove, or publish a site on Made in Webflow

Publishing permissions for Creator Credits

When you’re showcasing a site to which you’ve been tagged in Creator Credits, the following publishing permissions apply.

You may only showcase a site where either:

  • Your personal creator profile is tagged
  • Any Workspace of which you’re an admin, owner, or member is tagged

Additionally, you may only showcase a site to the profile that was tagged in the Creator Credits (i.e., either your personal creator profile or the Workspace creator profile for a Workspace in which you’re an admin, owner, or member). 

Enable site cloning

If you've made a cool site or some awesome UI layouts that you want to share with other designers, you can toggle on Allow others to clone this site. Note that you won’t be able to make a site clonable if you’re showcasing a site on which you’re added to the Creator Credits. Learn more about cloneable sites.

Once you've configured all the showcase settings, click Showcase your site.

Your site’s Made in Webflow page

After you’ve showcased your site, you'll be taken to your site’s Made in Webflow page.

How to access and edit your site’s Made in Webflow listing

You can access your site’s Made in Webflow listing from the creator profile you shared it from (personal or Workspace creator profile) or by copying the link to your site’s Made in Webflow page.

You can edit your site’s Made in Webflow listing in 2 ways:

  • Go to Site settings > General tab > Showcase site and then click Edit public page
  • Click Edit site in the top right corner of your site’s Made in Webflow page (you’ll have to use this method if you’re tagged in the site’s Creator Credits)

How to move a Made in Webflow site between your profiles

At any time, you can update which creator profile (personal or Workspace) your site is showcased to. Keep in mind that your creator profile must be set to public before you can showcase sites to it.

To switch a site between creator profiles when the site lives in one of your Workspaces:

  1. Go to Site settings > General tab > Showcase site
  2. Click Edit public page
  3. Update the creator profile you want to publish the site to in the Select profile dropdown
  4. Click Save changes

To switch a site between creator profiles when you’re tagged in the site’s Creator Credits:

  1. Go to your site’s Made in Webflow page
  2. Click “Edit”
  3. Update the creator profile you want to publish the site to in the Select profile dropdown
  4. Click Save changes
Important: When you use the Select profile dropdown to change the creator profile your site is showcased to, this preserves all the metadata (likes, clones, and views) associated with that site. However, if you click Remove site, the site will be unpublished from Made in Webflow, and its metadata will be deleted.

How to remove your site from Made in Webflow

Removing your site from Made in Webflow will also remove it from your creator profile page(s). That means users will not be able to view, like, or clone the site. You may add it to Made in Webflow again at any time.

To remove a site from Made in Webflow when the site lives in one of your Workspaces:

  1. Open Site settings > General
  2. Scroll to Showcase site
  3. Toggle the switch to “off

To remove a site from Made in Webflow when you’re tagged in the site’s Creator Credits:

  1. Go to your site’s Made in Webflow page
  2. Click Edit
  3. Click Remove site

Pro tip

You can add your best pages or layouts from a site or multiple sites to Made in Webflow.

  1. Create a new site
  2. ‍Copy your best work from your various sites into the new site
  3. Add the site that features "The best of" your work to Made in Webflow
