SEO Title & Meta Description

You can set the SEO title tag and meta description for each page in your project from the page settings. Open your Page's settings from the Pages panel and add your SEO meta title and description in the SEO Settings section.

Collection item meta title and description

For Collection pages, you'll define a pattern that all pages in a Collection will use for their meta title and description. That way, all Collection Items will automatically generate their meta title and description based on the pattern you defined.

To define your pattern, go to your Collection Template settings in the Pages Panel and add the Collection fields you want to use for your SEO meta title and description in the SEO Settings section.

SEO meta keywords aren't supported in Webflow because most major search engines don't use them for rankings. Google does not use the keywords meta tag in web ranking.

Site-wide meta title and description

We no longer allow you to set a site-wide meta title and description because unique titles and descriptions for each page of your site are significantly better for SEO, and lead to a better user experience.

Changes made to your site's meta title and description can take days, weeks, or even months to get indexed and start showing up in SERPs (search engine results pages).
